It should be about something that you are studying/researching at Cornell, or what you want to do when you leave Cornell, or a special topic that means something to you. It needs to be relevant to the audience, which is other Cornell Students.
Student has clear knowledge of the topic; references all sources, all sources are reliable
Student seems to have some knowledge about the topic; some sources are referenced and are reliable
Student has little knowledge about the topic; no reliable references
